The Smallest Girl in the Smallest Grade

Happy #internationalwomensday friends! Although the book we’re sharing today isn’t just about girls and women, it does feature a seriously #mightygirl. We love it so much, partially because all three of my girls are on the small side, but mostly because young Sally McCabe is a shining example of how size (and gender for that matter) don’t determine the difference you can make in the world.

Sally is a noticer; one who sees all of those little moments that happen throughout the day, good and bad. She’s finally had enough of the negativity and stands up for what is right and just for all the children at her school. Such a bold move and one that catches on with the entire school creating an enormous movement of kindness and love. She’s our hero today. ♥️
